Plumbing

Re: Plumbing

Hi Diane You are talking about the float valve in your stool OK. First shut off the water, there should be a valve below the tank on the stool. Flush the stool so most of the water is out of the tank there will still be about 1 or so inches of water left in the bottom. You can soak it up with old towels or what ever because when you take out the valve the water will run out the bottom. Next take a wrench and take the line off attached to the bottom of the tank. This will free up the valve so remove it. Now you are ready to put in the new one just like you took out theold one. It is a good Idea to use a new flexible line from the shutoff valve to the tank, hook it up and turn on the water check for leaks OK.
